Becoming a Vanguard Brand Ambassador
At the start of 2019 I took a drive to North Wales to spend a few days photographing the area. Whilst there, I attended a workshop run by Gareth Mon Jones and Danny Kenealy that was held on the stunning Llanddwyn island, Anglesey. The workshop was being run in conjunction with Kase Filters in and Vanguard World UK Ltd.
Whilst on the workshop I got chatting to chap called Jason Wharam, who is a Vanguard Professional, about the various tripods and bags that had been brought along for us all to take a look at. Like others who were there too I was impressed with the quality of the products on offer.
One of the biggest problems I’ve had over the years is finding a bag that suits my needs. I’ve tried most brands out there but have never really found one that suits my needs. On show at Llanddwyn as Vanguard’s Alta Sky 51D. Straight away this bag felt sturdy, well built and it appeared to meet my need! Jason managed to hook me up with a good deal on the bag and a few days later one arrived on my door step (I’ll be reviewing the bag shortly!).
Not long after I got back from North Wales I replied to a post on Vanguard’s facebook page inviting people to engage more with the brand. I received an email from Vanguard not long after inviting me to become a Brand Ambassador. Needless to say I jumped at the chance to work with the brand and continue to be impressed by the quality of the design of their range of tripods and bags. For those that attend my Landscape Photography workshops, a selection of Vanguard products will be available to sample and try out so you too can #MakeUpYourOwnMind.
